About Us 

West Virginia Garden Club, Inc (WVGCI) is a non-profit 501c(3) organization dedicated to the education and practice of the art and science of gardening. Members may be associated with a local club or a member at large. Local clubs operate independently under WVGCI.

The West Virginia Garden Club was incorporated in 1929 and is a member of the National Garden Club and the South Atlantic Region.

What We Do

  • Promote community beautification.
  • Support the youth of the community with programs and activities.
  • Provide educational programs and activities to our community and members.
  • Support the armed forces with Blue and Gold Star Markers.
  • Learn gardening best practices.
  • Support youth campership programs.
  • Learn and practice floral design skills.
  • Support higher education with student scholarships
  • Celebrate and share our successes
  • Help conserve and preserve our natural resources
