About Us
West Virginia Garden Club, Inc (WVGCI) is a non-profit 501c(3) organization dedicated to the education and practice of the art and science of gardening. Members may be associated with a local club or a member at large. Local clubs operate independently under WVGCI.
The West Virginia Garden Club was incorporated in 1929 and is a member of the National Garden Club and the South Atlantic Region.
What We Do
- Promote community beautification.
- Support the youth of the community with programs and activities.
- Provide educational programs and activities to our community and members.
- Support the armed forces with Blue and Gold Star Markers.
- Learn gardening best practices.
- Support youth campership programs.
- Learn and practice floral design skills.
- Support higher education with student scholarships
- Celebrate and share our successes
- Help conserve and preserve our natural resources
